We headed to the zoo this morning in Waco, Texas. Despite getting stuck in traffic (2 miles in one hour), we had a great time. Both Benjamin and Abigail were very patient and the weather was fantastic. The zoo wasn't very crowded and we saw some great animals. To top it off, as we were leaving the zoo, I saw Kelly Schmid...a friend from college. I was her student teacher and later job-shared with her. I haven't seen her in YEARS! Her two kids have gotten so big and they are super cute. I wish I had a picture to post of their beautiful family, but I was so excited and shocked about seeing her...I didn't even think to take a pic!
