We went to Callie's yesterday for a yummy lunch. Callie was able to get Abigail to laugh like we've never heard her laugh before. It was so much fun!
Abigail starts daycare in about two weeks :(. She is still not napping regularly during the day, but she sure does sleep at night! Last night she was showing signs of being tired as early as 6:30, so I laid her down around 7:15 and she didn't wake up until 7:30 this morning! My mom says that she is just like me, I loved to sleep also (still do!). I am really going to try to get her on a better nap schedule! Benjamin was asleep by 8, but up at 6 :(.
Now Rosby, our poor Rosby. She has been having seizures lately and they have been getting worse (in frequency, not intensity). Last night she had them every two hours. It's about 9 a.m. now and she hasn't had one since 5:30, thankfully. We have already taken her to the vet and had bloodwork done. Everything looked great, so they think it may be epilepsy. Since she has had so many lately, we will begin medication. The vet said it was a lifelong committment as she'll need two pills every day for the rest of her life. We'll do whatever we need to for our Rosby...it's so hard to see her go through those seizures. The medicine will not get rid of the seizures entirely, but they should cut back on the frequency and intensity. We're going to call the vet in the morning to make sure there is nothing else we should do about the recent high frequency of seizures. Fortunately, when she is not having seizures, she is her old self...she's eating and playing just as usual. You can see her in one of the pics below, playing with the kids. She kept trying to sneak in kisses on Abigail.

Awww...I'm so sorry to hear about Rosby! I know how hard it is to see your puppies in pain. I hope the medications help alleviate some of the pain/seizures.
