Halloween 2009

We were so lucky to have surprise visitors (for the kids, anyways) from California for Halloween weekend. Grandmama and Poppa made a special weekend trip to see Ben's t-ball game and join in on the Halloween festivities. We carved a pumpkin, played ball, ate donuts, and trick-or-treated. So much fun! Here are a few pics of our weekend.

Abigail's 1st Ocean Experience

Abigail LOVED LOVED LOVED the ocean. She didn't shy away from it, even after being knocked over backwards by a little wave. She was, of course, a little hesitant right afterwards, but she kept at it! She definitely seemed more comfortable than Ben did at that age (but he loves the ocean, now)!

Happy Father's Day!!!

We had a wonderful day celebrating Daddy! Daddy chose the day's events, which of course included a trip to Toys R Us.

Abigail LOVES her giraffe so much. She gets so excited when she sees it. She grabs it and throws herself on top of it...it's so cute! Hope this video works...it's my first time posting one on our blog!

Happy 1st Birthday!

We celebrated Abigail's 1st birthday with a ladybug party. Family and friends joined in the fun as we played with bubbles, jumped in the moonwalk, and ate cupcakes. Thanks so much to everyone for sharing in Abigail's special day. We really appreciate those of you who traveled so far to celebrate with us. We had a blast!!!

We enjoyed Tyler's Chuck E. Cheese party and later an evening with the family at Mamo's and Papo's to celebrate Mama's birthday. The night ended with karaoke...fun fun fun!!! What a great weekend of birthday and mothers' day celebrations!

Mother's Day

11 MONTHS!!!

Where oh where has the time gone? I can't believe our baby girl is just one month away from the big ONE!!! We enjoyed the evening outside watching Benjamin and Daddy play baseball and then going for a ride in the swing.

Learning about Plants

Benjamin is studying plants at school. He planted this at school and tells me it will be a red flower. Too cute! In case you can't tell from the pic, the base of the wheelbarrow is a Pringles contanier, the wheels are washers, and the handles are a halved popsicle stick.
