Here I Am!
Finally, I am in some pictures...I had to ask Dan to take them, but oh well...at least it's proof that I do exist!

Nashville Star-GABE GARCIA
We let Benjamin stay up late to watch Gabe sing...he started dancing all on his own (no prodding from us). It was so cute...Ben's got moves! He enjoyed hearing Gabe sing and agrees that he should be the next Nashville Star.

Family Gathering in San Antonio
We enjoyed a visit with Mama, Jim, Mamo, Papo, Aunt Olga, Uncle Richard, Larry and family, and Callie and family. Abigail was content being held by family; she was smiling a lot at everyone. Benjamin had a blast playing with Tyler...I'm always happy to see them play together. I want them to grow up to be good friends. Dan and I felt like we had quite a break since Ben was entertained by his cousins and Abigail was being cared for by family. Also, Abigail slept until after 7 in the morning, which was great!
Here is Dan and the "kids" before our trip to San Antonio.
Gammy and Abigail enjoy a rare moment outside when it is not stifling hot!

The cousins watching a movie together.

Mamo enjoys a sleeping baby.

I was thrilled that Abigail was so good and alert with Mamo and Papo.

Bath Time!
Ben has been begging us to put Abigail's bathtub in with him. When we told him we were planning on doing that, he jumped up and down and said, "I'm SOOO excited!". Bathing the two of them together was an adventure, but it worked. It definitely saved us time with bathing them together.
Abigail after her bath with Big Brother. Ben also had his hooded towel and was holding Abigail after bath; Dan tried to get a picture, but the camera battery died...shucks!
Dress Up Time!
Benjamin has really been into dressing up lately. Here he is as Sully from Monsters, Inc. He usually dresses up in clothes from his closet and from his box of clothes that I have deemed "too small". He's so funny...he'll strut out of his room with a long-sleeved shirt and pants that are inside-out. He looks so proud of himelf for getting dressed all alone. Now as cute as this dressing up thing is, it is sometimes the cause of frustration...especially when trying to get him dressed for schoool in the morning. "No, Ben...you cannot wear long sleeves, pants, and a jacket to school...it's too hot". I had to tell his daycare that he has been picking out his own clothes so they wouldn't think that I am color blind or unable to match.

Another Visit with Granny
It was so great to see Granny again. Benjamin had been asking when Granny was coming back to see "his baby", so he was thrilled when she came to visit. We went to the Round Rock Outlet Mall and enjoyed a nice dinner at home.
Dan and Ben enjoyed a well-deserved and needed nap.

Granny gave both Abigail and Benjamin a bath and read Ben his bedtime stories.

Visit with Cousins
We had the pleasure of watching Cayden and Avery for a few days while Callie and Todd vacationed in Hawaii (for their 10th anniversary). Avery was a huge help with Abigail. She (and Ben) picked out her clothes and helped change diapers. And as you can see below, she also fed her. Cayden made good use of the XBox and we all enjoyed using the Dance Pad. Everyone had fun entertaining Abigail and the kids did a great job of singing to her when she got fussy.

Bowling!
Benjamin enjoyed his first bowling trip. He was able to carry his bowling ball and roll it down the lane. After he bowled he would run back to where I was sitting to watch the ball knock down the pins. He was so excited to even get one. Thank goodness for bumpers! I'm not much of a bowler; I prefer to watch. Abigail slept through the whole thing. :)
