Christmas Day

Benjamin woke up, walked right past all of the presents under the tree, came to our room, and asked for BREAKFAST!!! Once we directed his attention to the fact that Santa had visited, he forgot all about food and headed straight for the presents. Coincidentally, Abigail woke up right around the same time (she usually gets up more than an hour after Benjamin)...guess she heard that Santa had come.
I was able to convince Ben to smile for a pic before he tore into his gifts.
Merry Christmas Sweet Girl!
First Christmas Together
Ben got a new Giants hat...Go Giants!!!
Abigail helped open a gift from Grandmama and Poppa

We then went to Uncle Larry's house for more celebrating.

Here is Mamo enjoying Abigail.

Papo must have been a really good boy this year...check out all of that tissue paper!

Cayden was so happy with the Brandon Jacobs figure he got from us (Dan has one, too :)).

Abigail tried to eat the tissue paper shortly after this picture!

Christmas

We began our Christmas celebration with a trip to Plano to see Dan's mom and brother (Granny and Uncle Tim). It was so much fun and extremely COLD! I will post more pics from this visit later, but for now-

Benjamin was all about Star Wars this year.

Go Yankees!

Abigail loves to stare at her two fingers.

Benjamin and I decorated a gingerbread house together.A big smooch for Mama after decorating the gingerbread house.

Abigail and Benjamin on Christmas Eve "day"...thanks for the cute outfit for Abigail, Granny!
Now it's Abigail's turn for a big kiss!

We then spent Christmas Eve with Aunt Callie, Uncle Todd, Cayden, Avery, and Todd's family. We had a lot of fun.

SANTA!

We went to "Downtown Hutto" today to visit Santa. They were serving hot chocolate and Christmas cookies. We had a nice time and as you can see in the picture, Abigail was not afraid of Santa at all. Benjamin kinda liked him, too :).

Snow and Other News

Yes, we did see snow tonight, but only briefly. We means Dan and I. We actually tried to wake Benjamin to show him...he wouldn't budge. We picked him up anyway, bundled him up and Dan carried him outside...he still didn't budge. Good thing since it had already stopped snowing!

Will try to post more pictures soon...still haven't done Christmas pics for cards! Abigail has been eating sweet potatoes this week and she LOVES them. She has also been eating cereal at school in the mornings, which is working out really well.

My mom got us a web cam and told us about Skype...let me just say- Way Cool. We can call her and talk to her just like she was here at our house. This is probably old technology to most people, but I am just amazed at how well it works. My mother could tell Abigail had a runny nose and watched Benjamin playing football with Dan in the livingroom. Way Cool. Callie and Dan's dad and Donna have one, so it's lots of fun calling/seeing each other. I highly recommend it.

Oh, by the way...the Stony Point Tigers are still going strong. They play the Allen Eagles this Saturday in Waco (this will be the 3rd game in Waco...same time and home team again...which is fine because it's a nice stadium). Wish them luck!

Go Tigers!

Our brother-in-law, Todd, coaches for the Stony Point Tigers in Round Rock and they are in the play-offs. My mother, grandparents, and aunt and uncle came up to go to his game in Waco on Saturday. They stayed the night and we all enjoyed a nice lunch at Callie's today. As you can see from the pictures, Abigail was super-happy and Ben had a blast. It was so nice to see everyone...and Todd's team (the Tigers) WON...38-6!

Happy Thanksgiving

We were so happy to host Dan's grandparents (GGma and GGpa), mother (Granny), and brother (Uncle Tim) for Thanksgiving. They came from California and the Dallas area. We also enjoyed a trip downtown to watch the Aggie Corps and Band march down Congress on Thanksgiving day and a nice dinner at my sister's house on Friday (thanks again Callie).

A Boy of Many Talents

He's a hairdresser...(this got to be quite painful!).
and a cleaner...just like Daddy. Notice how he picks up the crumbs, puts them in his hand and then throws them away. I guess we should teach him how to use a dust pan!
...and a wonderful Big Brother! He doesn't mind sharing storytime...and Daddy...with Abigail.
