Happy 3rd Birthday Abigail!!!

We celebrated Abigail's 3rd Birthday with a fun Pool Party on Saturday, a trip to Build a Bear (courtesy of Gammy) on Sunday (her actual birthday), and then a friend's Pool Party, also on Sunday. What a busy and fun weekend...a nice way to kick off Abigail's 3rd year!!!

Our Trip to Maine

We recently took a trip to Portland Maine to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. My sister and her husband graciously watched the kids for us and they all had a great time. Dan and I really enjoyed visiting the lighthouses and experiencing the cooler weather. We are so thankful to have been able to take this wonderful trip!

Another great lighthouse- Cape Elizabeth. We ate at a fun place near this lighthouse called the Lobster Shack. I had my first lobster roll there.

Hendricks Head- We had fun finding this one. We drove and drove and then all of a sudden, there it was!

It's Been a LOOOOONG Time!!!

Benjamin and Abigail have been growing up fast. Benjamin is now FIVE years old and Abigail will be TWO at the end of the month. We have obviously been very busy! Ben has been enjoying t-ball (go Diamondbacks) and Abigail loves going to games and practices. She has developed into quite the explorer...and limit-tester! Halloween 2009

We were so lucky to have surprise visitors (for the kids, anyways) from California for Halloween weekend. Grandmama and Poppa made a special weekend trip to see Ben's t-ball game and join in on the Halloween festivities. We carved a pumpkin, played ball, ate donuts, and trick-or-treated. So much fun! Here are a few pics of our weekend.

Abigail's 1st Ocean Experience

Abigail LOVED LOVED LOVED the ocean. She didn't shy away from it, even after being knocked over backwards by a little wave. She was, of course, a little hesitant right afterwards, but she kept at it! She definitely seemed more comfortable than Ben did at that age (but he loves the ocean, now)!

Happy Father's Day!!!

We had a wonderful day celebrating Daddy! Daddy chose the day's events, which of course included a trip to Toys R Us.
